Long Distance relationship possible?

I live in NYC n my girl lives in France.. We've known eachother for like 3 yrs now but jus got close 2 months ago when she came here for the summer... we both wanna b in a relationship together but its kinda hard wen the person u wanna b with is 3000 miles away... i told her id c her for new years to b with her for the month... i was jus wondering how this can keep up n if its possible.. i really miss her n wanna b there with her but now im startin to have doubts... anyways u think u know how this can work out?
