Full lace wig disappointment, what should I do with my hair now?

I recently ordered a full lace wig from beautifeyedvision.com, when I got it I was excited because the wig looked nice and it I was playing around with it and it looked like it would be really natural looking. When I applied the wig it WAS A HOT MESS! I used the walkers ultra hold adhesive (it was RECOMMENDED BY THE COMPANY) and the lace kept lifting up off of my hairline. The adhesive itself was VERY VERY STICKY AND MESSY. IT WAS LIKE DRIED UP PLASTIC AND CRAZY GLUE. They sent me the adhesive in a clear small bottle with their company logo sticker on it. When I put the wig on the adhesive left white resedu around the perimeter of my hairline and it was absolutely UNNATURAL LOOKING. I was very disappointed. My birthday is in a month and I really want my hair done nice I thought I was going to wear my wig but I can't. What kind of full weave should I give myself? I would like a full lace wig, but Idk if all the wigs are going to look like that wig! HORRIBLE! Any suggestions
