How to Disable the User Account (Owner Screen) for Windows XP?

the only way to get it to load without getting the welcome screen is to ensure there is only one user account, and no pword. Go to control panel and then users and check to see if the guest account is off, if not turn it off, also look for the .aspnet account and delete it as well.....then make sure your owner account does not have a pword and then click on change how users logon and check both boxes. Then reboot and it should just go to the desktop.
