How bias is this presidential election?

Every time I watch Saturday Night Live, Jay Leno, David Letterman, or any other talk show host, I hear them making fun of the Republican Candidates. Do you ever hear them jabbing at the Democrats? NO. That's because they are so scared of what might happen if they pick on a black man. If any of you saw the way that the black population reacted to the cover of the New Yorker magazine when it displayed Obama and his wife in a "less than appealing" manner, then you understand what I am talking about. I am not saying that the media should pick on him because he is black, I am just pointing out that the only reason the media DOES NOT pick on Obama is because he is black. Don't get me wrong, I will be the first to say that the "MAVERICKS" have provided the media with a lot of good sound bites, but a lot of Americans today are basing their votes on some monologue they heard instead of the facts. If Obama wins (and it looks like he will), this will be worst than the "dangling chads" of the 2000 election. Not because he is a terrible candidate, but because a nation of ill-informed first time voters based their decision on what some late night comedian said. Do you also see this or are you one of the first time voters that stays up late?
