Help, I am trying to find a beach in Orange county?

Somewhere near or around San Juan Capistrano there is a beach that has a long set of stairs and a steep hill. There is parking and I seem to remember it being accross the street from some houses or apartments. And its up high because to get to the beach you have to go down this long set of steps and then after the steps there is a somewhat steep path. I have been losing my mind trying to find it cause its not where I remember it. Anywho its somewhere near or around like Doheny beach and Dana Point. Not sure which direction...
