Do you think now, that public telephone boxes will become obsolete, now most people own Mobile/cell phones ?

i got a public street phone box at end of my road, no-one uses it. do you think now they will become extinct, what with laptops, mobile phones to contact people. Our good old fashioned Red phone boxes now gone due to modern technology. do you think this now could happen ?
