9 1/2 week old sick Mastiff puppy?

have cared for him at home since day one around the clock giving Sub-Q fluids (purchased from my vet) and kayro syrup for the first few days and pepto for vomiting. I then had to force feed him A/D canned food from my vet(day 4 to present)which he hates. For the last 2 days he has been acting very hungry but will run from the A/D so I have tried canned pedigree puppy, he sniffed it and walked away and went under my table to his bag of dry puppy chow and tried to rip open the bag, gave him a few pieces and he ate it. So I have been giving him small portions of his dry food which he will only eat if I give it to him piece by piece from my hand. I tried to wet it to make it soft and he will not eat it. We had baked chicken for dinner last night and he went nuts for it (i gave him half a piece of ). He has firm normal stool now but I feel he is not eating enough as when we are eating he goes crazy to eat what we are. any suggestions on what to feed him? I Have called my vet and she said if not eating normally to continue forcing the A/D.
